    Ever wonder why there aren’t lightsabers of a darker shade? Frankly I can’t get over how amazingly fruity a green lightsaber appears.

    Seriously, why aren’t people shouting more.

    Yellow lightsabers do exist in the canon, and are officially the colour used by Jedi Sentinels, in the place of blue as used by Jedi Guardians and green as used by Jedi Consulars. However, while official, this is more of a custom than a regulation, and is not observed in all cases.
