@NoOneInParticular: I think the guy they have for apollo was a bad choice. don't get me wrong he was great to look at. but he was way too soft spoken. I about fell outta my chair laughing the first time i heard him "try" to command. i thought he should turn in his pilot wings for fairy wings.

I was really upset when I saw Starbuck was a chick. At first. But then I got to watching the show and I grew to like her version. This is not the old Galactica that I grew up with. It’s a much more adult version, better in lots of ways. And they still have toasters – the old-school Cylons.

The casting for the “new” BSG sucked donkey balls. Seriously. Who’s bright idea was it to change Colonel Tigh from a competent black man to a broken down old drunk white man??? And Starbuck as a woman??? Well, that would have been okay if she was still a womanizer.

Boomer was another bad cast – I think they made that role Asian to “round out” the ethnicity in the cast just for the sake of saying “See? We got at least one of each!” >.>
