I liked it, and I like Rose, but it wasn’t a good film. Not even in that, not good film on purpose way.

@dieAntagonista: no. you are wrong. it was good, in that not good on purpose which makes it good way.
good try though, maybe next time you can make an accurate statement.

@Doctor Thompson: You mean my opinion is wrong? My subjective opinion is wrong?
Good try though, maybe next time you can make an accurate statement.

I liked Planet Terror, but not…shit, I can’t remember the name, the other one.

@nyokki: “Death Proof” was good for the classic car chase scene at the end.

death proof was bad ass… how the three hot chicks beat the living shit out of Kurt Russel at the end was epic i tell you… planet terror? didnt they cut like a whole part out of the movie right as the dude was going to explain an important part?… or maybe that was zombie strippers….
May 15, 2009 at 9:44 am
@kingston87: no it was planet terror.
@dieAntagonista: your statement is wrong not your opinion. I don’t like “A Tale of Two Cities” but for me to say that it is a bad book would be simply incorrect.
May 15, 2009 at 9:57 am
@Doctor Thompson: That would then mean that nothing is trully bad? To me Spice World might be a bad movie, but if you like it then it is a good movie in that respect?
Was Hitler good if you consider him good? If I consider him bad, you mean to say that my statement is wrong, but my opinion is not?

@Doctor Thompson:
So you’re comparing the work of a world famous novelist to a film that hasn’t even won any significant awards.
If you can state this is a good film, that means I can state that it’s a bad film. If you have a right to that judgement, so do I.
Are statements only ok if they match with your opinion? Because that’s what you’re implying, essentially.

@ dieAntagonista: I think you’re missing the point…
May 15, 2009 at 12:07 pm
@sutenvulf: And of course that doesn’t have anything to do with the fact that you liked it.
No I get his “point” perfectly. For some idiotic reason he is one of those fanboys who can’t handle if some people dislike this movie so he acts like this is some well known piece of art that’s accepted and cherished by professional artists everywhere, therefore I can’t say that it’s bad movie.
Except that it’s not any of those things. Get over yourself.
My point stands. If he has the right to that judgement, so do I. You could have at least tried harder.
Or try to amuse me with some technical facts about this movie that would prove that it’s indeed and unquestionably a good movie.
May 15, 2009 at 12:13 pm
He didn’t only say he likes the movie, he says I’m wrong in thinking it’s a bad movie. That is a fucking statement of the same nature.
How hard is that to comprehend. Objectivity would be real nice also, but I doubt any of you are capable of applying that to your narrow minded little world.
May 15, 2009 at 12:15 pm
@sutenvulf:
She gets it. The problem is that Doctor Thompson takes her statement as a fact, not as her opinion. Doctor Thompson has a problem with the way it is stated, if it had said, “in my opinion” maybe he would be happy. The fact is, any one familiar with the English language should be able to recognize the statement was an opinion and leave the silliness that has been brought into this thread out of it.
That said, I loved all of it. Every single bit. I really hope Machete is good. Even if its not, I’ll probably love it.

@Tetsuo137: @arminoacid: Thanx. I was being really lazy.
