Heckler & Koch MP7…
Despite I dislike firearms for their purpose, I love them as great pieces of technology…

talk about overkill…

Its just a red dot sight behind a night vision device on top of a personal defense weapon with a suppressor.

A scope on top of a weapon that fires pistol rounds? Other than for surveillance…

This looks very silly.

It doesn’t fire pistol rounds, it fires PDW rounds. And its a red dot scope, non magnifying. And why would someone want to use a rifle scope for surveillance?

I liked the scoped magnum on Fallout.

Not quite a repost.

TMPs were bad in CS, they’re fairly bad (compaired to other options) in real life.

@LukeV1-5:
I liked the scope pistol in Halo: Combat Evolved.

@RSIxidor: Yeah, that too.
When they took the scope away in the sequels, FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU-

@LukeV1-5:
One time I was doing some sniping practice on Bandits at Evergreen Mills (like, hardcore long-distance sniping) and I like to use VATS because it’s all cinematic-y and cool looking and my “Mysterious Stranger” perk kicked in and the distance disparity broke the game. I thought it was quite hilarious.

other than this rig, don’t know many pistols that fire the HK proprietary .177cal. First time I saw this on FutureWeapons I was wondering what the hell, a 4mm round?

Small diameter, light weight…makes for high velocity, and thus theoretically long range (unless air resistance fucks the trajectory due to light weight) – so a scope wouldn’t even be that silly.

the MP7 is positively bad ass. and yes, a scope would work on this weapon. it will blow right through body armor. one of the deadliest weapons made. that, and the AA12.
May 12, 2009 at 8:43 pm
not to mention the scope pictured is night vision so it has to have a large reticle or its useless

I don’t know weapons, but I fail to see how this captures any of the benefits of being a pistol. It looks like a pistol that wants to be a rifle/carbine, in which case, why don’t you just get the rifle?

Looks like a gun you would expect to see on the cover of Deadpool.

pimp my gun :p

While my friend’s distracted by the PS3 I’m gonna let ya’ll down easy. Okay, #1, the MP7 magazines don’t curve. They feed through the grip so they’ll be straight and double stacked. #2, there is no side rail and that light gets in the way of the retracted stock. #3, a big ass night vision scope on a submachinegun? You won’t hit anything that far away even in broad daylight and you’ve just wasted a few thou in Drebin points (Metal Gear Solid 4 reference). Get some real clips, ditch the scope for some goggles and go sneak up and shoot somebody!

an mp-7 can have a exteneded mag www.heckler-koch.de/HKWebText/detailProd/1926/81/4/20 <ta da (3rd pic) there is a side rail (see above)and a scope is justified because it needs it (read 3rd paragraph)

@riff.freelance: learn the difference between a magazine and a clip before you comment on firearms.
