   Is that inspired by 8-Bit Theater ( www.nuklearpower.com/8-bit-theater/ ) or by the game 8BT got the Black Mage sprite from?

   @Insanely Rational:

   8-bit got their sprite from final fantasy’s job Class “black mage”. All of 8-bit’s characters are from different final fantasy games (most being from the original final fantasy though).

   This particular picture is from Final Fantasy 9, or ffix.

    Am playing this right now, I’m on disc 2. Like it just as much as 7 so far, and immensely better than 8, which I couldn’t get into at all.

    Also Nobuo Uematsu is a wonderful composer.

    No no Nobuo Uematsu is GOD! (although I’m agnostic lol ) Nobuo Uematsu, Akira Yamaoka, Bruce Faulconer and Alexander Brandon, a few of the reasons why I’m trying to become a Video game composer.
