		<description>Ducati&#039;s Desmo valves are still in heavy use because they are superior in a v-twin or v-four configuration.  It allows for high revs without valve bounce as the valve is not only pushed open but also pulled shut.  If you use standard spring valves then you get valve bounce.  Honda have tried pneumatic valves but have never got them to work as good as Desmo valves.</description>
