  1. This is fucking awesome.

  2. Damn it, Where is the nibble?

  3. This is incomplete. It’s Missing
    -Petabytes
    -Exabytes
    -Zettabyte
    -Zottabyte
    -Brontobyte

  4. @ColombianMonkey: whoops did a little more research and here is the complete list for everyone

    · 1 Bit = Binary Digit
    · 8 Bits = 1 Byte
    · 1024 Bytes = 1 Kilobyte
    · 1024 Kilobytes = 1 Megabyte
    · 1024 Megabytes = 1 Gigabyte
    · 1024 Gigabytes = 1 Terabyte
    · 1024 Terabytes = 1 Petabyte
    · 1024 Petabytes = 1 Exabyte
    · 1024 Exabytes = 1 Zettabyte
    · 1024 Zettabytes = 1 Yottabyte
    · 1024 Yottabytes = 1 Brontobyte
    · 1024 Brontobytes = 1 Geopbyte

  5. I get confused with the bit/byte difference…

  6. @casemods:
    8 bits to a byte. Not hard. Think of it in terms of food. Take 8 bits of food, it’s equal to a bite (depending on size of bits).

  7. Why does everyone forget about a nibble!!!
    4 Bits = 1 Nibble.

  8. Or sometimes known as a nybble.

  9. Why is it that when I see this image all I can think of is someone using those as butt plugs?!

  10. madhouses visites, thank you..
    so not to scale..

  11. @ColumbianMonkey

    The terms have been renamed to account for facts of two vs. factors of 10.

    kilobyte = 1000 bytes = 1KB
    kibibyte = 1024 bytes = 1KiB

    This came around after some people in the US started suing hard drive companies for not advertising their space properly.

  12. Missed this.
    @ColombianMonkey: Who the fuck named the highest ones, the Marx Brothers?
