  1. Hubby liked both mini-series.

  2. Well, technically it’s Robert Duvall and Tommy Lee Jones playing Gus McRae and Woodrow Call in Lonesome Dove, which is a pretty damn good western if you’re into that kind of thing. Best line: “I can’t abide rude behavior in a man! I won’t tolerate it!” (delivered by Captain Call after beating a Union Army Scout almost to the point of death)

  3. excellent show, and books. i’ve read them all. Duvall and Jones are at their best.

  4. “That girl is mine. Bought and paid for”

    Best Western Ever.

    Also happens to be my father’s favorite movie.

  5. I actually have Robert Duvall’s autograph. I sat next to him at a rodeo. It was awesome.

  6. A classic western. Seen it many times. Was one of my grandfathers favorites. Two great actors standing there as well.

  7. My ex-g/f would get so WET while watching this series. She’d let me finger-bang her while watching this, even with her mom in the room! (She was 16, I was 18.)

  8. Goin’ into town to get a poke.
    @hugeManatee: Agreed

  9. Brokeback Mountain 30 years on.
