Laddering sucks. I have had to throw away so many stockings and hose because of it. Happily, stockings are not in-style right now, so I can now go out bare-legged, sometimes w/ a fake tan too.

@...Paul_Is_Drunk: Well, most guys wind up buying stockings for their GF at some point in time. Often right after causing a run in the previous pair and are trying to avoid sleeping on the couch for a week. 😉

@...Paul_Is_Drunk: It’s a vertical rip in the stockings that still has horizontal strings spanning the run, often done purposefully in ‘punk’ wear.

@...NoOneInParticular: I don’t think sleeping on the couch or stockings made it out of the 80’s. Didn’t they used to come in giant Easter Eggs? I mostly remember the 80’s for MTV and incredibly bad Sci-Fi/Fantasy movies.

God Damn IT! I didn’t even know that painting stockings on women’s legs was a job! And here I am busting my ass like a schmoe when I could have had a job like that. I would have specialized in full body stockings.
