@<a href="#comment-220665" rel="nofollow">GrandAdmiralThrawn</a>: Okay, wait, I got a random political fact for you:

2008, John McCain refuses to attend a presidential debate with Barak Obama because he, along with the current president, George W. Bush, are "needed" in congress to push through an emergency bailout bill to make America a socialist nation, and they succeed.

So by your own logic, the Republicans are not only freedom loving people that push liberty, but they see the failings of lazze faire and capitalism, and made a bold move to end the capitalistic state of America and make it a Socialist nation.

Oh, but wait, AS McCain is championing the bill that made America officially socialist, he ran slam campaigns against Obama calling him a socialist.

Obama wanted to have the debate.

You are living in a socialist country. The American government OWNS multiple banking institutions. This was pushed through by Republican leadership.

Republicans love to do one thing but say another. Im sure there is a fact that negates damn near every single one of your citations. Much like the situation illustrated above that people STILL dont acknowledge.

@GrandAdmiralThrawn: Sticky is right! (How did that happen?) Republicans built their early years on the platform you shared and since the late 1950s have done an entire 180 degree turn on most of those ideas. As proof about the instability of platforms. There are a few evangelical leaders, who for years preached about the evils of sin, immorality and homosexuality, that are now gay, prostitute pursuing, drug users. Things do change. I know its scary but you'll get used to it.

<blockquote>"The Presidency tends, year by year, to go to such men. As democracy is perfected, the office represents, more and more closely, the inner soul of the people. We move toward a lofty ideal. On some great and glorious day the plain folks of the land will reach their heart's desire at last, and the White House will be adorned by a downright moron."
H. L. Mencken
(Baltimore Evening Sun, July 26, 1920)</blockquote>
The woman has no redeeming characteristics.

Obama didn't carry the majority in my state (West Virginia) either. Though he was much closer than thought he would be. Me, my sons and hubby all voted at different times of day and all had to stand in line for 3-4 hours.

@<a href="#comment-220696" rel="nofollow">nyokki</a>: Yes I am. I gotta tell you, I have been unable to understand a lot of things growing up in the bush era... but when McCain became the Red candidate, I got scared, he makes sense. Then they unveiled Palin and I literally cannot comprehend it. There are still people driving around with "Palin 2010" bumper stickers and I just dont get it.

She has ZERO qualifications. She is a RETARD. Im sorry, she would kill america with her retard policies alone, with her "little blessing" and all (little factoid: at least in the state of arizona, the standard student has about 40,000 dollars a year spent on them, the average special education student has 1.5 million dollars a year spent on them, despite the fact they will never contribute to society in the tune of 1.5 million dollars let alone the 22.5 million dollars spent on them for their average education of 15 years.)

Not to mention she has no eduaction, not to mention she has no diplomatic ability, not to mention "Alaska is an energy rich state don-cha-no" is apparently a stance on alternative fuel, not to mention "I can see Russia from my house" is apparently a stance on foreign relations...

She was the high school slut who had her rich daddy pay her way through broadcasting school. She is "strictly christian, no sex before marriage, no abortions" but her own daughter is having an illegitimate child AS she is campaigning for VP. THEN she tries to bully the father of her sluts kid into a shotgun wedding...

I was going to try to withhold from this rant, but I have never fully had it, I quelled it. Somehow, some way, I didnt think it was possible, but the fucktards who said Bush was okay, found a stupider moron more guarenteed to lead to the end of the United States, if not the end of the world (she would LOVE to be the first woman to initiate a n-ee-oo-qu-ee-u-lar strike)... I just dont get what is wrong with the people in the nation I live with. Majority ruled and voted Obama in, but not in my state. That scares the shit out of me.

Seriously, let her go and shoot fucking moose. That's the only thing she ever said that wasn't clearly out of the mouth of her neo-con coach.

Huh, you're the joke...
We were talking one specific individual...
You did the Pundit thing and blurred the line.
Don't point out the good or evil deeds of single members from either party when discussing racism...By the way I didn't bring that subject up so you shot is wide...

Truth is the only casualty here and it's on critical....

Let me say this, we're not perfect, but I'll take our numnuts in office over your lyers anyday.

Oh and thanx thelotuseater725, you're right...
But anyone saying that Dems are more racist than Reps is not going to have much of value to say...

A Canadian.

This woman is anti-American. Someone slap her please. I don't give a shit what she has or hasn't done. She's a disgrace just based on the things she believes.

Oh yeah, and I can't get enough of her accent. I'm disturbed.

@<a href="#comment-220665" rel="nofollow">GrandAdmiralThrawn</a>: You have to make a distinction between democrats pre-LBJ and post-LBG. When he signed the civil rights bill, democrats basically pulled a 180. I suspect you already knew that and posted anyway for reasons unknown, trolling or you're a complete idiot.

@<a href="#comment-220684" rel="nofollow">Paul_Is_Drunk</a>: Alrite if i read what you said properly (which i may not have done since my sleeping pills are kicking in) i would suspect you are under the impression that i am accusing the media of being left wing biased. Well you are right, televised media is left wing biased. And Fox news is right wing biased also , rupert murdoch flat out admitted that, and there are a few left wing issues that i care about that fox news has GROSSLY misrepresented. And talk radio is DOMINATED by the right wing. Having that said...

Well obviously a website named Conservapedia is far from non-biased but if you don't think that there is a liberal bias in some of the media you are kidding yourself. That doesn't mean that when they bring up a legitimate issue or they are wrong, but just don't expect them to give you the full story. When i watch fox news i am not going to expect them to report on the more positive things the left wing has done let alone fairly represent the left wing(as i said above). The only issue that fox news or conservapedia has accurately represented me on is my stance on taxation.

I protest too much i think. Many times it is a detriment to me. I mean i will admit i lean more right but by no means am i fan of the modern republican party. As i have stated Ad Nauseum on this site i was never a huge fan of bush, even when i was "republican" i wasn't fond of him. I don't even like the republicans in office right now.

@<a href="#comment-220676" rel="nofollow">thelotuseater725</a>: Oh, and gx5000 proposed a "what if" question. He never said anyone was racist. Yet that was enough for both you and GrandAdmiralThrawn to loudly declare "not all Republicans are racist!"

Is it a case of being too sensitive, or simply "doth protest too much?"

@<a href="#comment-220673" rel="nofollow">thelotuseater725</a>: So the media is biased just like Wikipedia is biased, and that's why Conservapedia was created? Because Wikipedia was so biased that they wouldn't admit that Dungeons & Dragons let you summon demons or that Richard Dawkins wasn't a professor at Oxford, despite Oxford's (and former students) protests? I, for one, am proud of Conservapedia standing up against that liberal bias, even going toe to toe against Oxford's 'undeniable proof' that Dawkins was a professor there.

...honestly, at what point does reality just have a bias?

Oh, and@<a href="#comment-220676" rel="nofollow">thelotuseater725</a>, maybe not all conservatives are racist, but they do consistently vote racist people into office. Take Rush Limbaugh. No, he's not in office, but he is the face of the party these days. Here's my favorite quote of his:

"I mean, let’s face it, we didn’t have slavery in this country for over 100 years because it was a bad thing. Quite the opposite: slavery built the South. I’m not saying we should bring it back; I’m just saying it had its merits. For one thing, the streets were safer after dark."

Unfortunately both parties were pretty racist before the 1960's, but only one has consistently claimed that title since then.
