      “Lyin’ in my plastic bed
thinkin how things weren’t so cool to me
my baby likes to shoot pool
I like lyin naked in my bedroom
      tying on the dinousaur tonight
it used to be so cool, but
      now i got the needle
and i can shake but i can’t breathe
      i take it away
but i want more, and more
one day i’m gonna lose the war.”

      :(

    4. Vote -1 Vote +1ack (UID#1582)

Gonna download me some heroin just as soon as I can find a good torrent of some…

Oh, and in case DieA is reading – Saul Williams is NOT good heroin. Saul is more like sniffing spray paint fumes from a bag. ;)

    6. Vote -1 Vote +1RSIxidor (UID#950)

      @ack:
Saul Williams is cool, man. I’m gonna listen to that right now.

      Ahhhh crap. Not you too.

Why does the guy still have the rubber slipmat and not a felt one?

    9. Vote -1 Vote +1numb7rs (UID#239)

Ooh, a Technics. We have those. They do usually have felt though.

    10. Vote -1 Vote +1numb7rs (UID#239)

Unless they took it off to avoid having “Technics” in big letters in their picture.

I still have my Technics turntable. I bought it in 1978ish. I’m trying to find the big rubber-band thingy; the one I have is stretched.

    12. Vote -1 Vote +1Vent (UID#1995)

      2 things….

      1) my Dad has the most kick-ass turntable (USB enabled). He’s retired now, and he’s been “burning” his old LP’s into mp3’s – shit like the Venture’s, old 60’s shit… which totally pisses me off, because a) I have a bunch of shit I want to convert, and b) he was never that fucking cool when I was growing up…

      2) The Sword is/are my new heroin. They are bad-ass. A friend of mine from Austin mentioned them a while back but I didn’t really listen to him. It’s stoner, it’s metal, but somehow they wrap up everything I like.

    13. Vote -1 Vote +1Xp (UID#1468)

Technics 1200 MK5 with an Ortofon Concorde Pro cartridge. Ortofon ftw, but the 1210 MK5G’s are such sexier turntables. Upgrade you tight ass!
