Patrick Acton is currently building a model of JRR Tolkien\’s City of Kings from the Lord of the Rings. He expects the model to be completed next year. Acton is proprietor of the Matchstick Marvels Tourist Center in Gladbrook, Iowa

It’s not the “City of Kings,” it’s Minas Tirith. Minas Tirith doesn’t even MEAN city of kings, it means Tower of the Guard after it overtook Osgiliath (Fortress under the Stars) in defense capability. It wasn’t ever called city of kings in the novel. There was no king, just a Steward of the throne (Denethor II) for many, many years. Yes, a king (Anarion) built it, but he originally named it Minas Anor(Tower of the Sun). Around the Second age, they changed the name to Minas Tirith.

I don’t get where you’re seeing a shithouse, unless you’re talking about his actual house. And everything seems very well organized. So FAIL.
