Still i think they should continue production simply for the fact that the PAK-FA fighter is going to debut this year, and a lot of our enemies are going to purchase them. The f-22 needs to remain relevant.

These are all F-22′s right? I sometimes mistake the F-35 Lightning for the Raptor.

Anyone remember that old game Raptor: Call of the Shadows? I don’t.

I still think it is ridiculous to just scrap the project after so much work and resources spent on it already. It’s pretty stupid that it’s assembled across, what 46 different states? like what the fuck that has got to jack the cost up way more than necessary.

I’m also curious as to what about all the other countries that bought these planes for future dates. I know Canada bought I think 10 of them, for 2014. Do they just get a refund now?

Awesome planes, but really more tech than we need, and they cost way too much. I live about two miles from one of the bases that could be a training center for the F-35, which would be pretty nice for the local (fucked-up) economy. @Moe: The first test flights of the Raptor were back in 1990.
