If you watch the Zeitgeist movie, you’ll see how many older religions were influenced by astronomy/astrology… and where Christianity borrowed from them all.

@Paul_Is_Drunk: I think it is more the religions of the -present- that never really address the stars. The religions of the -past- as in those more than 2000 years old, most definitely addressed the stars and were very largely, if not entirely, based around the celestial movements and patterns of our diamond dusted velvet canopy. That and the weather, animals, war and the Sun. and aliens. and time travelers. and dragonosaurs. and Joodles.

@Paul_Is_Drunk: I was seeing if I could find some sort of list of religions who worshipped the stars, but ended up reading about Egyptian Mythology instead. Curse you Wikipedia.
