    That is not Barbie!

It’s Britney Spears or that one Palin chick that got knocked up and her mom knew it, then ran for election and everyone laughed at her. Yeah, that one.

Puulaahi: WOW! Your grasp of pop culture and vocabulary astound me!

    Annarchy

It’s not Barbie. It’s just another bleached blond fat dumbass virgin who always wanted to be Barbie.

What I see in airports to realize I’m home.

    Paul_Is_Drunk: LOL
I actually went to Walmart over the weekend (plastic picnic pates, cups etc…) and was horrified at what I saw. I hadn’t been to a Walmart in years and I knew people made fun of the people that shop there, but OMG!, there were some fat ass people in totally inappropriate sleep wear (a least I hope it was pajamas) or ho-wear. I joked w/ hubby that I should have printed out the Walmart Bingo card that was posted here.

    Puulaahi

nyokki: Walmart is truly a scary place.

It’s funny that you felt the need to justify your reasons for going to walmart “(plastic picnic pates, cups etc…)”. I have never shopped there, is it really that “trailer park”?

    Annarchy

Walm-Mart, trailer park? No. It’s where I go to see trash of all sizes, colors, ages and genders. Kind of like the carnival, really.

i think its messed up when i run out at night for emergency diapers or something (alone) i go to walmart and no matter what time of night there will always be small kids there.. screaming their heads off.. then they smack the kids and all hell breaks loose and you can pick them out all over the store.. even after midnight people take their kids there when they should be asleep.. no wonder they are throwin fits

nyokki: I played Walmart bingo recently. The card was full of stuff that I was sure we wouldn’t find (i.e. Used Diaper in Parking Lot) so we almost changed it to easier stuff. We didn’t (long argument over that) and I can’t believe how much of it we found. I knew it was spot on when we walked into the parking lot, and right there by where we parked, a disposed of used diaper.

    Amazing.

Aww! They made a fat little banal role model doll for girls, presumably to shut up those activist mothers who couldn’t imagine a regular Barbie body shape to be anything but anorexic (after all, since they couldn’t achieve it after driving down to the gym once a month, it must be unnatural), and now all those frumpy fatties can feel fabulous about themselves instead of being motivated to get up of their frilly purple beds and becoming healthier, smarter, and genuinely useful members of society. Go them! I know I’m glad to know that a lifestyle of screeching “No wai! Like, totally!” into the telephone for hours on end while surfing Jonas Brothers websites and stuffing French Fries in your face is admirable – after all, Barbie does it now too!

At first I thought she was pregnant, but then I looked harder and saw what they did there.

You’re right; I was justifying it. I know people that shop there for absolutely everything. I just can’t picture buying clothes at Walmart. Though I guess if you have to dress 4 kids on $15,000 p/y, you’d have to shop there. Trailer trash is so prevalent here (WV), that I go out of my way to avoid them?

    vanvelding

This is actually part of an advertising campaign to fight childhood obesity. Active Live Movement or something. They’ve got fat generic superhero and fat legos as well.

    Annarchy

nyokki: I hate to ask, but feel compelled to anyway: where do you go to avoid the trash?
vanvelding: Wouldn’t fat legos make it seem cool to be fat?

    nyoki

Annarchy: For clothes? Everywhere. There are some really nice shops in town, a tad pricey sometimes, but at least I won’t meet up w/ my friends only to discover we’re wearing the same exact clothes. I apparently live in the middle of outlet central too, lots of choices there.
Keeping away from them otherwise is not usually that difficult. There is a fair amount of culture here (other than Baltimore and DC). We go to a lot of fairs, festivals and local concerts.
