lately there’s been a few nsfw posts that have been submitted that I’ve gotten a couple complaints about, and I’ll be honest, it’s something that I’ve been trying to find a solution to. Previously I just let it all hang out, hiding the NSFW stuff behind a cut, but with the same site layout, but then google told me that they didn’t want their adverts on NSFW content, so I had to made the google ads not show up on NSFW posts, but that was killing the non-nsfw posts…ugh. My next solution was the M[c]S premium membership, but no one ever paid for it, so that’s going out the window now too…
I have a solution that I hope will make everyone out there in internetland happy: nsfw.myconfinedspace.com you’ll still be notified that there’s a NSFW post on the main MCS pages, and you’ll see the comments, but you will have to click through to a completely separate subdomain, along with it’s own set of advertisements. You’ll notice that there’s a nice red banner at the top (along with those long lost contest banners, yay), so you’ll know where you are before you scroll down. Also, effective sometime soon, the NSFW content won’t be showing up in the RSS feed, there will be a separate feed for that kind of materials.
tl;dr : NSFW content is moved, but easier for you to view intentionally, but less easy to view unintentionally.
also: that’s not all the NSFW content on mcs yet, I just need to get it all moved over, but that’s goign to have to wait until I’m sober again sometime tomorrow

The Ads on the alternate site are… quite interesting.
I’m just a little annoyed that people are complaining. You should know by now there are pictures on here that are racy, so why do we have to please the ones who shouldn’t be on here in the first place, if they are bothered so much.

The google ads I’m getting on the main page are “Meet Colombian Girls” (I’m in Colombia) and “Tyra Banks Bikini”. And those guys don’t want their ads in the NSFW section? And projectwonderful is throwing at me pedobear, “Classified personals” and “Adult Personals”, so it’s not like they can claim to be pure either.
What actually bugs me is that the two NSFW posts I clicked on tonight were littered with annoyingly explicit gay porn. Come on! I checked on Vim Diesel’s IMDB page ONCE. Just ONCE. And I did it just because I watched Pitch Black tonight and I wanted to see if he was really black (he’s half and half). That doesn’t make me gay!
But seriously, could you tone down the NSFW ads? You should at least add something on the profile where we can explicitly tell you our gender and/or sexual preferences so you can target the ads and have a meaningful chance of anyone actually clicking on them. I’m pretty sure the advertisers would appreciate something like that (i.e., pay you more) and I would have an easier task focusing on the naked girl’s boobies when she’s surrounded by other naked girl’s boobies rather than animations of guys giving each other a blowjob.

Not to be a pain but this also stripped NSFW posts from the RSS feed, so no more boobs in my reader

@clicksip: That’s why there was daily nudes. I can open that one freely at home, and MCS at work. I for one am happy I don’t have to quickly scroll through thirteen pictures of glorious tits I’d rather look at in a hurry, but rather savor them at home.
