      I always thought Burnout was better on enclosed tracks, honestly.

      Game sucked, tbh. Showtime wasn’t a good replacement for crash mode, the bikes sucked and i agree with Stickey, burnout was better on enclosed tracks.

      This game does not deserve to bare the name “burnout”. I’ve played all the Burnout games (and still have every one of them for XBox). EA fucked the game up when they purchased the developer. They knew what they were doing.

      too bad this map will be obsolete in a matter of months when the new expansion island comes out.

      @paulo: This game did not necessarily suck, I think it was just too over whelming and broke all the traditions of previous Burnout installments. In other words, it tried to be too ambitious for its time. However, the wealth of DLC that Criterion has bestowed upon is deserves all the applause it can get.

      Things are always going to change when you switch to an ‘open world’ format, perhaps Burnout was best left alone…but once you get the hang of the map, how the races and events work, and how to participate in multiplayer, its a pretty sweet racing game. Not better than Midnight Club 3, but way better than any crap NFS game to come out in past 5 years…

      @token2k6:
      Need For Speed Underground and Underground 2 weren’t bad except for the godawful “EA Trax” bullshit that compelled me to scramble for my CD player.

      Have this on PS3 – had to look at a map like this to get some of the “find all events” trophy

      @Sticky: Agreed! I was mainly talking about Most Wanted, Carbon, ProStreet and Undercover…all crap. But seriously, there are like FOUR different NFS interations coming out later this year, I hope they can revive the franchise properly, or EA won’t be getting my money for at least one title the second year in a row…

      Anyone who doesn’t like this game should be shot! They’ve clearly lost touch with reality and are now a menace to society.
