@everyone/anyone: I believe this picture is actually stating that there really are no such things as “gods”. Cats simply aren’t “smart” enough to make up such things.

I like to believe in things I can see and touch, or used to see and touch…or at least things that there are videos and pictures of.

its not about cats being smart to the point of realizing that the mainstream gods do not exist, but more that are at a level of knowing that instead of being a worshiper, that they can be that which is worshiped by others.
As has been said, cats were worshiped as gods, so why lower themselves to the level of a mere worshiper, an underling or follower, which would make them secondary to a power higher than them
