I can’t wait to hear the actual voices, however. I saw a German dub.

I can completely understand why some didn’t like this movie. But I fucking LOVED IT!!! It is one of those movies though, that understandably divides opinions. And I’m not a fan of the graphic novel. I never heard of it til the movie.

Wow I have really checked out of the cinema section of general pop culture. Back in high school I went to movies every weekend, but now it seems like such a rip off, and hassle. at first I would catch up on dvd, but eventually I just have sorta got my entertainment else.
3 out of 5 stars is about right. Wasn’t a very good movie, but at least it respected the source material.
Jackie Haley gave the best performance in the movie. Rorshach was the best character in the film.
too much blue dong in it for my taste but rorschach made the movie watchable

Speaking of blue dong, I just hope that Blue Man Group doesn’t get any ideas from this movie.
Sure, they can show a giant blue glowing penis on the screen. But when I pull my penis out of my pants in the theater and its all “pervert” this and “sex offender” that. Bunch of hypocrites.
Definitely worth seeing in IMAX for apparent reasons.

I went to see the movie in the theater and was surprised at the vast number of little (under 10) kids in tow with their parents. And every time that blue schlong showed up on screen I would sneak a peek at the families in the audience. The kids’ eyes were all huge. I laughed. It’s rated R for a reason, der.
Rorschach = best character in this flick.
I completely understand everyone’s love of Rorschach. But the thing is, the comedian was the best character in the graphic novel. His role was completely underplayed in the film (for just reasons) more specifically his interactions with Adrian.
Rorschach is awesome, but the Comedian is better.

Meh. Blue dong but lack of blue balls =steroid boy. after the first 2 seconds on screen I stopped paying attention to it. there were better things to focus on.

OK, so you’re an idiot.
The reason why Watchmen was such a big deal was because it actually had a point and was based upon a book that made many good points about people, hero worship, true character, and defining good and evil.
If you want to claim pointless I suggest “I am Legend”. That was pointless. By Christianizing the ending for the bible huggers, the title of the film is completely lost, along with the entire point of the story. It should have been re-titled “I got careless and found God”.
Back to Watchmen… As a minimum you should have caught onto the main point of the Watchmen. Who watches the watchmen. Pointless indeed, dumbass.
