Not potential from what I heard. Script has been drafted and Eddy Murphy has been signed to play him. Of course, you know how reliable the interwebs are…

I submitted this pic, equally shitty quality (obviously a stretched suit) and it got rejected.
Why?
I didn’t have half the picture with pointless black/blank space.
-takes 428×200 pics and adds big gaps to either side-
HOLY SHIT A WALLPAPER!!!

Jim Carrey was actually pretty decent as the last Riddler…
Good ol’ rubber-face.

Not sure who this is, but it looks like the bastard stole the crystal doorknob from my great grandmothers bathroom.
She loved that doorknob.
What a prick.

FAKE!
There is no script yet and anything regarding a new Batman movie is rumor only at this point. Although it’s fun to speculate and this picture is cool (Though I’ve seen it before months ago) The Riddler is a horrible villain to even consider being in the next Batman move because he’s too much like the Joker.

@Dreth:
waaaaah, /sob
what happened is either you’re incorrect and your image sucked or I was drunk and deleted your submission in a fit of fat fingered rage.
you pick which is more likely.

Yup, it’s a fake. It surfaced shortly after the Dark Knight’s theatrical release, so it’s not only a fake, it’s a stale fake.

No, it’s real. In this movie The Church of Scientology enlists Batman to help their fight against Anonymous.

BEST COMMENT SO FAR:

Actually, this is the guy that showed me how to get free money that the government was “just giving away!”

Sorry Senshi, ack had the better comment. Your Matthew Lesko was a good attempt though.

you guys should check out Brian Azzarello and Lee Bermejo’s Joker…it has a ton of Batman’s villains and the riddler is pretty sweet and way more believable than the ones you normally see…

If they do add Riddler, I can only hope they stick with the organized crime theme from Begins and Dark Knight (what Batman started out fighting in the comics to begin with). Riddler would need to be played darker, with more of a “zodiac killer” vibe to his clues. Then again, I might just be geeking out again.

After Hugo Weaving’s performance in V for Vendetta, choosing him to play the Riddler would make a solid villain IMO.

IT’S PIKACHU!

@Neuromancer:
Hadn’t thought of this, could see it working.

@tiki god:
No Waambulance needed, I’ve had many images rejected and many approved.
What kind of gets to me is that it was the exact same pic, but with less width (e.g. the original width).
And this is fan-art anyway, I submitted it with three other concept-art photo-manips for the next Batman movie, which included Harley Quinn, Catwoman and another version of The Riddler.

@Graceless: No no no no no. Jim Carey did nothing but his usual hammy acting. At what point is “rubber-face” a pre-req for playing the riddler? Have you ever read a Batman comic? The Riddler is not an over-the-top goof.
