Wow. Does this really work? Sounds better than acid (which I haven’t done since high school). Does anyone even do acid anymore?

A German, of course. I always feel kind of proud when Germanic people come up with strange things like this. Freud is my homeboy.

I have a ping pong ball. Ping pong is pretty awesome, but I’m going to sacrifice one to see if this works.

but umm i was about to say that i think this does really work. if i watched the movie white noise like 5x and listen to static. durr lol. but really i think that the static is at such a tone/frequency that your sense are in a tip toe stance. your concentration level is soooo high expecting to hear something you do hear stuff. only thing is that i don’t know where the ping pong ball effect is. ping pong balls was created in 1901 so maybe in 1930 the ping pong had some fucked up chemical? and if sniffed you hallucinate? lol

@...ColombianMonkey: Also, the static is not a special tone/frequency which would make your brain any more alert. It only exists to provide white noise so that no other auditory stimulus occurs making the hallucinations possible.

check me if I am wrong, but NO radio station “broadcasts” static.
Static is found on a frequency where no signal is being boradcast.

Ok, so if Im understanding this correctly…the white noise is so you dont hear anything else, and the ping pong halves are so you dont see anything else (maybe distort your sight a bit), then…

The same thing can happen if you apply pressure to your eyes while they are closed, then let off and not open them.

First time i heard of this i went out and bought ping pong balls and downloaded MP3’s of various white noise. It didn’t do shit for me. @...greenie:

@...nyokki: Hmm, well until now, I thought it was edited, but if you look closely, you can see some parts of text are clearer then others. That’s why I thought it was edited…but reading it again it makes sense now.
