  1. Top one is my favorite one, then the third.

  2. This series, along with his Hellfire Club rampage, is what started Wolverine on the popularity path he’s been on for 20 years.

  3. Holy Shit, I’ve got this series!
    Protectively stashed.

  4. @Anonymous: Nah, it was the John Byrne X-men and the “Days of Future Past” arc.

  5. I see Miller is a fan of the crazy-hair winged flat top version of Wolverine.

  6. Oddly, Miller was the first one to have Wolverine’s claws resemble samurai swords (‘though only pic #2 has them).

And I always liked the brown costume better. More feral & earthy, like it’s wearer.

  7. *(not so oddly, in hindsight)

  8. @Anonymous: yup, fuck black leather Wolverine, this is what made him popular, this is what made hima success… more of this, less Shitpool re-hashery.

  9. @HoChunk: I’ve actually always though they looked weird that way. Not that they looked wrong, this was a cool look, but they looked inverted… If they were actual katana blades, the edges would be facing the wrong side…
