I use his work in class—Swiss, symbolist painter. His “Death of the Gravedigger” is interesting.

Amazing depiction, but I could have gone without the contrast of bright atmospheric background overlapped by brillobush. There shouldn’t be a hairy crotch and hairy legs with nothing in between unless that’s a combination panflute flamethrower.
I wonder what this picture would look like if he was wearing a hawaiian bathing suit.
