I like it, but it’ll suck when the hair grows back. Ryu is the best Street Fighter character. Ken is always second best to Ryu. Except for maybe Fei Long.

And, yes, I know that’s not the Time Code…

I wonder what the binary says.

Hadouhaircut…!
@Puulaahi: Well Ryu
has certainly always been much more well rounded, but I always liked playing Ken… He seemed to have more power to me….

@Phyreblade: I always liked Akuma too. Such a badass evil guy.

@Puulaahi:
I’m sorry, Puu, but you are dead wrong. Ryu is great, but by far not the best. This also depends on which games you’re playing.
The fact of the matter is there a few characters that just down right suck. In SFII this was more obvious, but HD Remix really has answered a lot of these problems.
Usually, my go to list: Akuma, Sakura, Cammy, Ken, Ryu, Sagat. Not always in that order. I haven’t gotten used to Gouken in SFIV yet, though, but so far he seems to be amazing.
Ryu is awesome. and definitely the “Main Character” of the games if there is one.

Crouch, crouch-forward, walk a little bit, and punch.

@Puulaahi: Akuma was always pretty evil, (and also really cheap against the comp) but I never actually learned to play him particularly well… I’ve always been more of a Ken/Ryu kind of guy…
@RSIxidor: In SFII I used to play Ken predominantly. I could beat the game with any character, but I could do it with Ken using only just a his heavy kick button for most of the game.
Personally I thought the HD Remix maybe over balanced the characters, but it was still not all that bad. In the later versions, they specialized the weaknesses and strengths of each character so much in the name of “Balanced but varied” play that some of them did became really useless unless you relearned how to play them altogether.

How do you “over” balance?

jesus ass rogering christ. see this here? this here motherfuckers is exectly the fucking diametric opposite of that fucking car up there. even claw bitch would be like shit i’m a baddass motherfuckinger compared to that.

@Dreth: I guess it’s my really bad way of saying they rebalanced the characters in such a way that they are all balanced as a whole, but each characters abilities are so overweighted that, in reality, as individual players, some ended up being unplayable against certain others…
Yes, convoluted, I know, but I don’t know how else to describe it. Balance wrt video game characters is such a subjective term…
