Given that Luke grew up on fucking Tatooine, it’s true.

Child support is not paid by Sith masters.

@Annarchy:
Palpatine was the master/
March 16, 2009 at 5:26 pm
@Dreth: Vader had apprentices. Therefore, he was a master.

@RSIxidor: I see what you did there! HA! Yeah, he was probably that too.

Is there anything plot point of Star Wars that doesn’t have corresponding plot-hole?
March 16, 2009 at 7:37 pm
@Annarchy:
If we’re gonna be all cannon and shit, there’s only a rule of one sith apprentice and one sith master at any given moment. Now if Emperor Palpatine was the master during the old Trilogy, obviously Vader was not a master.
starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Rule_of_Two
March 16, 2009 at 9:03 pm
@Dreth: In ESB, the Emperor agrees with Vader that Luke could be a powerful ally if he could be turned to the darkside. This contradicts the “Rule of Two”.
March 16, 2009 at 9:59 pm
@reboot: Vader and Luke would have killed the Sithlord though which doesn’t contradict the rule.
March 16, 2009 at 10:59 pm
He had the ideal of having Luke as an ally by turning him to the dark side with the anger that his father caused him, eventually killing his father and turning Luke into the new apprentice, keeping the Rule of Two intact.
March 16, 2009 at 11:09 pm
the Emperor was totally going to tell vader to fuck off once he had luke.
Palpatine lost much of what he had in store for Anakin when Obi Wan left him as a crispy critter.

@reboot:
No.
@Dreth:
You just made my boyfriend go off on a Star Wars rant for five minutes. Thanks, asshole. By the way, he says you are wrong, wrong, wrong.

That wasnt me. Annarchy commented without signing me out.
Dreth… youre a dumbass shit head. Not only do you speak, not the rules of the sith, but of Darth Bane’s rule of two, but Vader came to be after Banes influence subsided. Youre talking like you know something, have you never seen The Clone Wars, any of them. I myself have only bothered watching the cartoon network cartoons, but Assaj Ventress mother fucker, Assaj Ventress. Dooku was Palpatines apprentice, Assaj was Dooku’s apprentice.
…The end.

Damn! Wine, computers and me. Those never mix well, especially if there’s only one computer in the household.

@camusapprentice:
Gee I’m sorry I didn’t catch the Star Wars Ewok Saturday morning special either.
I stick to the movies, the real ones. Clone Wars (CGI series) was an expensive ad for the stupid TV show.
And I’m sorry but this kid’s show is not gonna “cannon” anything worthy of recognition, and even if you read the article I linked, it explains what the Rule of Two is (which was my point).
We’re talking about Vader here, not whether some lame old ass has apprentices or not.
I just noticed, how the hell does one manage to fuck up “PAID” when it’s already on the picture?
March 17, 2009 at 9:33 pm
@Dreth:
Because we all know that wiki articles are soooo reliable. Regardless, my initial point was that Vader had an apprentice, that’s what made him a master. The Rule of Two that you so lovingly refer to has nothing to do with that.
March 17, 2009 at 9:48 pm
You may be right but there sure is a “Rule of Two” in your damn accounts, learn to sign out, god damnit.
March 18, 2009 at 2:21 pm
@Dreth:
Okay, I will give you that one. Only because it’s funny.
