    I like how he’s essentially become some kind of pop culture icon. Reminds me allot of communism and images of their leaders , displayed in some kind of angelic pose. have any of you been reading about anything he has passed through the white house? Other than that ridiculous stimulus package.

    thelotuseater725: That’s the point. It’s clear that he’s trying to get some stuff done, while not having said anything on a very large percentage of his promises. It is what it is, neither pro nor con.

I can tell you, he didnt get a “rediculous” comprehensive stimulus package that provides funding for hundreds of programs that create jobs nation wide through the house and senate with EXTREME resistance from people still mourning their loss.

    Oh ya, bush dumped trillions of dollars into Iraq, and sent everyone in America a 200 dollar check… more if you are breeding and adding to the problem. Wait, that took him 8 years.

    Ok in defense of bush here, the guy inherited the beginnings of the first recession and during his first year our nation suffered one of the greatest Acts of war SINCE PEARL FUCKING HARBOR. In addition to that the man went to war with iraq under the notion that saddam was harboring weapons of mass destruction. Hey, Guess who also attacked iraq on grounds of ” weapons of mass destruction” BILL FUCKING CLINTON.

    You realize it takes about 10 years for the nation to feel the full effects of a presidents decisions right?

    Also during both of clinton’s administrations a brand new sector of the global economy was emerging and america was one of the power players during the emergence. This of course was the advent of the .com industry. This was when Amazon, google, Ebay all came into power. And of course by the time bush came into office was when the .com bubble’s started bursting.

    camusapprentice: I agree that Obama is an improvement over Bush. But allot of things Obama has said, he has back tracked. He promised a swift withdrawl from Iraq , now hes wavering , extending the deadline. Maybe he saw the more realist side to the situation, time will tell. I personally feel that we are headed for a one world government though.

    Phyreblade: I notice that people who whine that one side or the other is not being objective, fair-and-balanced or has a bias are the same people who always cite someone or something that is clearly subjective and biased.
    When I was a kid, I remember my dad had a saying: “When children complain that they’re not being treated equally…it’s usually because they are being treated equally”, sometimes he would replace equal w/ as an adult. I think the same goes for pundits and their followers.
