I hear there's a gun show in Texas where you can rent a flamethrower.
Just thought I'd throw that out there.

traptin85, I think you mean Vedauwoo (pronounced vee-dah-voo). Awesome for rock climbing, in between Laramie and Cheyenne, Wyoming, where I grew up.

The pic reminds me of New England, circa 1981, when the whole region was in the midst of a Gypsy Moth caterpillar infestation. They grew in web-tents like this (not as large, but numerous.) I was in grade school then, and I'll never forget it. They were EVERYWHERE. You could hear them defoliating the trees at night...it sounded like a light rain. People wrapped vaseline-coated tinfoil around the trunks to keep them from climbing up and destroying their shade trees. The tire-mashed carcasses slicked up local roads. They also hung from branches by long threads --one hit me in the mouth once as I was riding my bike down the street.

What?!? We not only have the impending robot and zombie apocalypses but now we also have to be ready for the spider apocalypse? That's it, we're screwed.

Thank you. Places NOT to visit before I die, Lake Tawakoni in Northeast Texas, unless it's with a group of heavily armed Marines with Flame Throwers. Scratch that, nuke the site from orbit, it's the only way to be sure.
