Roll to wound. I need at least a few sixes. SHIT!

    2. Silverwolf says:

Few people know that the real reason St. Michael managed to slay the dragon is that he secretly switched his jinxed d20 with the dragon’s lucky d20.

    3. burritos says:

I always though St. George was the one with the dragon.

    4. toof says:

I give one vote for St George and not this St Michael dude you speak of.

    5. Hazard says:

My bad. Saint Michael kills demons out of heaven, while Saint George killed the dragon, correct. They do the same gig though.

    6. etiii says:

My bad also…I thought that St. Micheal smoked cigs and drank alot and chased women??? (John Travolta).

    7. Puulaahi says:

I’d like to live in a world where the dragon slayed the saint.

    8. Mystik says:

Now wait… so if a dude is a saint for killing dragons, does that mean that the Catholic faith allows for the belief of dragons? I’m converting back…

    9. swedishdest says:

It is in the Storkyrkan or the Great Church in Stockholm Sweden.

      It’s even cooler in person.

    10. nyoki says:

@swedishdest: Thanx. I really need to get out of the states again. There’s so much I want to see across the pond.

    11. Puulaahi says:

@nyokki: Me too. Huge history buff here. I would get giddy simply walking on a Roman Road or likewise.

    12. velador says:

@Puulaahi: I totally agree with you. Being a european living in the US I miss the vibe of history you get when you walk these old streets and have the Colosseum emerge in front of you (or whatever old building you might be at). So yeah, hop on a plane ang get over there again. I susually try to do it at least once a year.

    13. velador says:

but do it without the typos.

    14. Puulaahi says:

@velador: I’ve never been to Europe. So many places I want to go. Been to Hawaii, Mexico and Fiji though. So it’s not like I haven’t left the USA.

    15. nyoki says:

@Puulaahi: Well, I’ve never been to Mexico, Hawaii or Fiji and would dearly love to go someplace warm and tropical.

    16. Puulaahi says:

@nyokki: So many more tropical places I want to go to: Marquesas Islands, Caribbean, Tahiti… You’d love it nyokki. Just lay out at the beach and do nothing if you would like or hiking/scuba/surfing. Tis the life.

    17. nyoki says:

@Puulaahi: That sounds perfect right now. We’re back down in the 20s again.

    18. velador says:

as good as that all sounds (and it really does), I am more of a cold weather guy. But hey, I would go anywhere right now as long as my cell doesn’t work and can get some lazy relax time.
      😛

    19. Phyreblade says:

This is a lie… Those dragons could have killed any one of those pitiful humans at will… It funny how you go extinct and suddenly the stories all change…

    20. nyoki says:

@Phyreblade: Apparently they couldn’t, otherwise we’d be the extinct ones.

    21. Phyreblade says:

@nyokki: No, no, no, you got it all wrong. It is a myth that dragons intended the destruction of mankind.

They were very intelligent creatures, very sporting, love riddles, etc. perhaps a little mischievous, but there were really very few truly bad ones, and I’m willing to bet some stupid humans crying “Kill the dragon! Kill the dragon!” for no reason other than they were scared probably was the determining factor in their sour disposition toward humans.

If you look back in history, you will see there are many cultures that had great mutually beneficial relationships with dragons. It is only because they bore no inherent ill will towards humans that they let us survive, in spite of our ugly propensity for unprovoked violence…

      True story… Really… 🙂

    22. velador says:

@phyreblade: Dragon bones were put into the soil to test our faith in Science Fiction Authors.
      Or something like that.
      Nevermind, I’ll shut up now.

    23. Phyreblade says:

@velador: Ah yes, but then where did the dragons come from… ?
