One of the best transformers series ever. Very well done CGI for that time too. Watched it when I was younger on TV, went and DLed all the eps. Got the g/f to watch the whole series with me. It was epic.

The newest series Transformers Animated has a great background developed, but I don’t think the writing is great, and at times the animation can be anywhere from bad to down right abominable.

This series made my childhood worthwhile. The job they did of tying in the whole history of the Autobots and Decepticons was phenomenal, and the animation was absolutely beautiful for the time. I need to get the DVDs. It’s a pity it only went for three seasons.
Sorry to rain on the awesome parade, but I just remembered the next part of this saga was “Beast Machines” tears fucking lots of tears.
