Ha! Scrolled back up & knew it was a nyokki post before I saw the name.
The shot of the crane with the sun is awesome. I used to do Chi Gung and there was a beginner pose based on a crane warming it’s wings with the rising sun. I was immediately reminded of how much fun it is to keep your arms out perpendicular from your body for 20 minutes at a time.

These are such beautiful pictures, it’s just sad that my new 17″ laptop monitor has a native 1920 x 1200 resolution. These look horrible stretched that big.
Oh, well. Thanks nyokki

@thatonejimguy:
If bugs are not animals, they are… Vegetables? A strange kind of mineral?
And wikipedia also repeat the fail! en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Animal (see “Ecdysozoa”)

Reptiles have the simplest and oldest brains. Hence why they are the most dangerous.

@Puulaahi: Remember, deep down inside your cranium, somewhere in the gray jello, you have a reptile brain, too. More stuff got tacked on to it over the ages, but at the core, you are a lizard. Heavy doses of combined ketamine & mdma will help you rediscover it.
