Nice. But I wonder how many Baby Ruths I would need to bring?

@Senshi: That was stupid, but I agree, how do they keep it clean? How do they purify (I don’t see clorine or ozone dispensers or even filters anywhere but the edges).
February 22, 2009 at 10:51 am
First off its a salt water pool.
Second, I’m sure it works like any other in ground pool system, and has automatic purification systems hidden somewhere in a pool filter room. No one wants to see a big filter and pump next to the pool while they’re on vacation.

I imagine there is a very large ozone system under in a building somewhere. And salt water helps, too.

That pool has it’s own Navy. This is amazing.

I propose a voyage, the scale of which has never before been seen. We will take a fleet of 60 ships, fully stocked with supplies and arms enough to find a new land, and if necessary, seize it from its indigenous people. We will take this new land, and we shall inhabit it, and from our trials a great nation will arise. Yes, my friends – I propose that we colonise The Other Side of the Pool.

Looks perfect for my tiki-raft experiment whereupon I prove that the outer beach COULD have been colonized by natives of the hotels.

well sir, this is certainly retarded. let the stupid rich people take their chances with the sharks like the rest of the peasants who are forced to cool off in the ocean.
“They say we’ll kill them off, take their land, and go there for vacation.”

I WANT!
February 22, 2009 at 3:56 pm
@LukeV1-5: I propose a different voyage. With one big ship, heavily armed, run entirely by women. A ship on which I’m the captain. We might never get to the other side of the pool, but we would have loads of fun trying…

This is depressing but, think of how many children have drowned in that pool because of their parents forgetting about them and letting them run around on their own unsupervised. It’s like 3 pool lengths wide.

@brisingre: @sickmindedone:

@Puulaahi:
LIES! Nobody has drowned in that magnificent ocean. I plan to steam across, and engage in all sorts of piratetry, privateering and derring-do, and I shall not have any bodies in it that I did not put there.
