    6. He is called Mountain Man.

On MyBodySpace a forum for weight loss and fitness support started by BodyBuilding.com He quickly became a legend. His login name was HeyZeus909, and after becomeing the most popular person on the whole site they did a review and interview on how he did it. When they solicited him to do steroids or support supplements and chemicals he refused and was banned from the page.

No roids….he was simply a forest fire fighter who works out in his basement and ate raw eggs. If you dont believe me…go here..

    8. That’s not what you look like on steroids. It takes nothing but hard goddamn work to be that ripped and that lean. He probably only weighs around 190.

So let me get this straight you dont know this guy, and have only read about him on another website and therefore you know for a fact he isnt on steriods? I wouldnt take your word on it unless you lived with him in his cabin in the forest. And just because a total stranger said he doesnt take steriods you believe him. And why would a professional website require someone to take steriods or ban them from the site. That makes no sense what so ever. And neither does the fact that this guy has a beard that long and is a fire fighter.

    10. I can tell you right now, No steriods on this guy. WHY?

I do steel ring gymnastic training and I can tell you his mid section is pure, raw core traing, sit ups, reversed push up, hindu push ups. His arms and shoulders have been probably trained with weights and his laterals aren’t over developped like a lot of steroid trainees. His midsection is too small for him to using steroids since that is a dead giveaway for a person with an extremely high metabolism where you are burning the energy you are putting and not over feeding yourself like many body builders tend to do.

    11. @Gary Scenario: Probably not even that. Compare his body to the size of his head & especially his eyes. It may be a bit of forced perspective, but I’d bet he’s somewhere between welterweight & super middleweight.

    12. @Teutonic Logic: Good points about both the “banning for refusing steroids” and firefighters having beards. Something fishy, here…

    13. .. eww. I’m probably the only woman on earth who finds this unappealling. Sure, I like men. But I like a man with a brain for something besides bulking up. I’ve met guys like this and it’s all they talk about. YAWN.

I’d rather talk to him about fire rescues or something more interesting than how many reps he did before breakfast. 😛

    15. @CathyLong: actually a lot of women do not like this look. Not every woman wants a man who does nothing but work out.

      Also, those veins are creepy!

Well in addition to reading his profile. I am also a paramedic, and a physical trainer. When someone takes steroids it simply super accelerates muscle growth. GROWTH, not Hypertrophy which is the recruitment of muscle mass. This is why most steroid users tear muscles. ANYWAY, Steroid users build big bulky water filled muscles. They loos almost like they have been stuck onto a fat person…the muscles arent lean. ALSO a steroid users veins RECEDE into the body. You can obviously see that his veins…are just fine.

    18. @Rhamnousia: “a steroid users veins RECEDE into the body”
      –No shit? Why is that?

      Reply

    19. OK… a muscle can only grow in two ways. Hypertrophy, which is muscle recruitment, and growth which is the actual growing of the individual cell. The only thing that can cause hypertrophy is muscle exhaustion in the presence of protein and NO glycogen which is what you body stores for energy. So basically when you body gets crushed by a workout it CREATES NEW MUSCLE so that next time it will be stronger. Eventually you want the recruited cells to grow and thats when you start strength training. A nice balance of the two is what you get in the picture above. Now if you use steroids all you do is super accelerate the growth of the tissue that is present.. N HYPERTROPHY HAPPENS! as you muscle SWELL then engulf the surrounding tendons veins and nerves. The fact that you are swelling two few muscle cells to be HUGE…they tear. Or you tendons are smothered and you loose range of motion (like all the meat heads on TV that are so big they cant clap their hands). So big bulky muscle with no veins did artificial ballooning caused by steroids. While natural muscle growth will simply reposition veins as the muscle is recruited under it.

I hope this answered your question

    21. @Teutonic Logic: oh yeah and online weight loss programs and forums make money by selling you a whole bunch of pills and powers that dont do anything. If you can get a ripped guy to push the product and say it worked for him…then they make MORE MONEY! He refused to push something he didnt use. sorry if i was vague. As a result they torpedoed him and he left because of all the bullshit.
