Good in Snow?

I wonder how it would do in our snow covered streets…

    the fact that it is a ford has nothing to do with it. still, ford is the king of trucks.

    I love my Ford, and this one might actually make it up my driveway after an ice storm.

    These are actually really good in snow. The army did some tests on humvees in deep mud and snow, and the tracked one beat the wheeled one handily.

    I think those things are actually kits you can put on any truck… Pretty Cool…

    I think they’re called mattracks or something and they bolt up to any four wheel drive vehicle.

    with 10+ times the traction of a tire… it will drive on anything

    these will mount on any 3/4 ton truck- the bolt patterns are all the same. they also fit other models. they KICK ASS in the snow. they SUCK on the ice.

    Depends on the vehicle- anywhere from $9k to $80k
    The more horsepower the vehicle has the higher the price.
    Typical pickup seems to be about $30,000
