One of the last places in the Western hemisphere where bashing homos is still encouraged.
February 11, 2009 at 3:32 pm
@deuce:
Are you kidding me? So all the other countries in the west are perfectly fine with homosexuals. Yeah right.
February 11, 2009 at 4:06 pm

always proud to represent the Caribbean.
February 11, 2009 at 4:39 pm
@dieAntagonista: No, I meant literally bashing homos. Most of the western hemisphere at least discourages it on principle.
February 11, 2009 at 4:58 pm
@deuce:
Every country has their own issues, don’t act like other countries in the west don’t do equally bad things.
America fights fire with fire, Georgia has too much time on their hands, in Africa they ‘cure’ homosexuality with rape, the Japanese produce sex toys for ten year olds and somewhere in Florida votes are still being counted. I said somewhere in Florida votes are still being counted.
I know those aren’t just countries in the West, so what. Why is a crime against a certain group of people worse than if they were against any other group. And to divide issues by cardinal points is ridiculous also.

@deuce: just want to inform if you didn’t know, reggae flows with one love, respect all white black purple green orange brown. and there is the dancehall society that most of them do bash gay, for example Elephant Man, Vybz Kartel, Movado, Sizzla are pretty much hate gay people. mainly sizzla (who is reggae and dancehall) but he is big time hypocrite first he talk about love but then he talk about gunshot to them gays. so sizzla and elephant man are banned in canada and in german because they dont want to sign the Reggae Compassion Act. which basicly means your not allowed to talk or sing about this even thou you have freedom of speech. here you go : www.pinknews.co.uk/news/articles/2005-7563.html you might learn something if you didn’t know. im not mad r ntn but just setting the record straight. lol

@thatonejimguy: “Hooray, Beer!”
February 11, 2009 at 6:12 pm
@Puulaahi:
Because somewhere in Florida, votes are still being counted.
And Dick Cheney is peeing all over himself in spasmodic delight.
Make fun of politicians, it’s easy, especially with Republicans
like Rudy Giuliani, Colin Powell, and . . . Al Gore.
Create fatuous juxtapositions of personalities and political philosophies
as if communism were the opposite of democracy,
as if we needed Darth Vader, not Ralph Nader.
February 11, 2009 at 6:32 pm
@dieAntagonista: My comments were just about Jamaica and the western hemisphere. It is one of only 2 countries on this side of the earth where homosexuality is still a crime, and large parts of the culture still encourage gay-bashing. Just cuz other people and cultures around the world are discriminated against or experience hate crimes doesn’t mean we can’t condemn it in one country at a time.
February 11, 2009 at 6:37 pm
@deuce: I’m sorry. If you feel the need to point the crimes of a country out every time you see their flag, then go ahead. But comparing A with B like that is completely irrelevant and pretentious.
February 11, 2009 at 7:34 pm
@dieAntagonista: If i remember correctly, your of israeli decent? AND jamaican? Wher did your parents meet? Must of been one hell of a party!
February 11, 2009 at 7:41 pm
@Moe:
You don’t remember correctly.
My mother was Romanian and Hebrew, my father is Egyptian and Jamaican.
They met in Romania where they both studied medicine.
Yeah, my parents and grandparents knew how to look past race and religion.
February 11, 2009 at 8:18 pm

February 12, 2009 at 4:53 am
@deuce: dude you are 100% wrong for blaming the whole country if only a good handle are like that, they don’t encourage they only say what will happen if they come to them.
February 12, 2009 at 9:05 pm
@Phyreblade: Haha aw. Why thank you mister. That made me smile.
February 13, 2009 at 12:42 am
