But this version, and pretty much every Gojira of the Millenium series, have always been my favorite. P.S. I always thought that was a cool effect from the old movies: to have his spine "glow" before breathing fire or radiation or whatever...made him more of an atomic death machine. Kinda wish they'd done that with the '98 remake, but instead they just made him a giant lizard a la Jurassic Park. His back looks like Iceman attacked it.
