      Tr2n is going to be epic! I love the teaser. I need to buy the first one on DVD.

      With hot babes too. Olivia Wilde is FaNOMable.

      Coincidentally, I just watched that movie last night. I thought it was kind of a dud, which was disappointing because the concept has a lot of potential. I’m looking forward to the sequel in hopes that they’ll give it a better treatment in our more technological age.

    6. Vote -1 Vote +1Dreth (UID#983)

      I admire the visual flair it has, for being a movie so old. But the storyline seriously bored me.

      @gwythinn: @Dreth: Now that I think about, you guys are prolly right. I remember being excited by the concept and the sfx. In 1982, we were patiently awaiting real computers that could do the things we saw in the movie. It was closer to a decade or more before we really got it. There was so much hype of what computers would do that I remember being frustrated by what they did do.

      @gwythinn: Well lets just think about it a moment. What if all the executable program files in your computer, or your host, took on a bit of the personality of it’s coder.

      Make you think twice about running newfs and destroying an entire world.

      I too am holding hopes for a better treatment.

      BTW in the video, the first character taunts “You wanted to play! It’s just a game!!” to which the other replies “Not anymore.”

      @WMidyette
      you say first character, you do know thats Flynn from the first movie and the character yelling back is the younger version of Fylnn, i cant belive im actually discussing this, no offense, im sad :-(

      Oh god i love this movie so much. First time i ever saw it i was microwaving marshmallows. The marshmallows turned into these rock solid cakes of semi-burnt semi-rock-hard sugar. That was when i learned that microwaved marshmallows are actually crappy even though there is some good flavor still in them. Tron fucking rules and i am waiting with baited breath for Tr2n.

    11. Vote -1 Vote +1ack (UID#1582)

      Tron and The Black Hole were awesome in their time. Unfortunately they relied on effects that aged poorly. I still like both movies, but realize that it’s because I saw them in their prime.

      Now 2001 – that is a movie that never ages for me. I love that movie.

    12. Vote -1 Vote +1Phyreblade (UID#5939)

      @Mr.Bungle: Man, Tron2 looks like it’s gonna kick some major A$$…
