Just watched the trailer on the big screen. Looks really good. Definitely need to read the graphic novel. Oh and Underworld 3 is hilariously lame. Cool Werewolf transformations though.

Go read the book. Alan Moore is awesome. Also read the V for Vendetta book, way better than the movie.

I don’t know if I said this before but.. after reading the graphic novel, I realized how every other marvel and dc comics sucked.. Alan Moore is a fucking genius

@...Puulaahi: Yes. YES. A thousand times yes. I walked into my Friendly Local Comic shop and asked for a comic that I could read as literature. This is the first book Friendly Comic Guy picked up. V for Vendetta’s good, as well, but much more Orwellian.

You know, I was never really excited about this movie until Reboot started posting comment after comment about how he’s so excited over this movie. His childlike enthusiasm is contagious.

Am I the only person who has a problem with the way Zak Snyder is being touted as a visionary director? Robert Rodriguez was the one who did all the hard work. All Snyder had to do was point at “Sin City” and say, “Let’s do THAT, but with ‘300.’”

@...Puulaahi: No….read it AFTER. That way your standards for the book are at about the same level as the movie. After saw the movie, I was like, “Well, that was pretty fucking cool.” And then I went on to read the novel and thought “Holy fuck, why didn’t they follow it exactly???”
