And they wear their bowlers in a non-ironic, non-Steampunk way. You don’t see that much these days. Though Stanley’s *is* about two hat sizes too small.

Charlie Chaplin was the first who had that moustache.
Hitler made his moustache look like that specifically because of Chaplin.
He wanted to be recognised easily. It was a very smart move actually.
Much like, how Edward changed his name to Aleister Crowley because of similar reasons.

@Putridity, um, really no. It loos like two people who, when told, “okay, let’s get a picture of you two.” ham up their facial expressions. Eighty years later, even the dirty minded gutter attached to my brain, really just sees two adult male friends getting their picture taken.
