You know, he’s rediculously bombastic and hasn’t made the best career moves ever, but at least he’s pretty honest about what he is and what he’s about. (in a ‘yeah, I’m over the top and cheezy, but there’s a market for that and I’m just playing to it’).

As to the song in question, yeah, it never explains what “that” is, but it seems pretty well designed to be a ‘insert-whatever-you-need-”that”-to-be-here’ kind of song.

I don’t know where I’m going with this. Yeah, it’s one-dimensional fluff, but at least it admits it, or something. Better that than bands that think they’re deep.
