  1. Honestly, one of the most beautiful cities I have ever visited. Spanish moss hanging from every tree, little roundabouts with parks, big plantation houses.

I was staying in a friends apartment, just down the block from Bob Vila’s house.

I had a good time down by the river there. That photo just gave me a massive flashback, standing in that exact spot 14 years ago…

  2. I love Savannah. We overnight there every time we drive to Florida and usually take a day to see something different. My favorite is the Old City, w/ cobblestone streets and Irish pubs.

  3. I go to school in Savannah. I’ve been in that candy shop way too many times.

The town is pretty IF you overlook the giant mass of slums and insane amount of crime.

    Also GODDAMN TOURISTS.

  4. @Hazard: Yeah, us tourists suck. The masses of slums and insane amount of crime is true of any medium + sized cities.

  5. And the massive cockroaches that live off of the starch from the paper mill.
@Hazard: College of Art & Design, by any chance?

  9. @suicydking Yep. We students don’t like tourists but the locals don’t like us so it all works out.

  10. @Hazard: When I visited there, I was staying with a friend who was attending that school. I remember eating at some hot dog joint with a nice view of a park… Forsythe park maybe? Donno, but it was good eats.

Come to Charleston S.C. we have everything Savannah has and our general population is smarter. Also that is right near where my wife and i live and you could stay with us and have a threesome, er, an interesting time discussing global politics.

  14. @thelotuseater725: How about if I come there instead, and instead of a 3some I just shag your wife?

  15. @thelotuseater725: This made me laugh really hard. Aww yeah, I’m totally going to do you both, er, just visit both places, and then have those interesting discussions you spoke of afterwards.

  16. I’ve never been to Savannah, but MCS and Gen. Sherman liked it, so I’ll take their words for it.

  24. @dieAntagonista: Hell yeah were sexual. I used to think all of England was more prudish than the US. I only found out 10 years ago that I was dead wrong. lol
There are indeed incredibly sexual beasts in the US. Just ignore the bible belt and our mass media.:)

Ah and don’t worry, I don’t watch TV, and American mass media is the last thing I pay attention to :p
