Honestly, one of the most beautiful cities I have ever visited. Spanish moss hanging from every tree, little roundabouts with parks, big plantation houses.
I was staying in a friends apartment, just down the block from Bob Vila’s house.
I had a good time down by the river there. That photo just gave me a massive flashback, standing in that exact spot 14 years ago…

I love Savannah. We overnight there every time we drive to Florida and usually take a day to see something different. My favorite is the Old City, w/ cobblestone streets and Irish pubs.

I go to school in Savannah. I’ve been in that candy shop way too many times.
The town is pretty IF you overlook the giant mass of slums and insane amount of crime.
Also GODDAMN TOURISTS.
December 31, 2008 at 2:13 pm
@Hazard: Yeah, us tourists suck. The masses of slums and insane amount of crime is true of any medium + sized cities.
December 31, 2008 at 2:18 pm
And the massive cockroaches that live off of the starch from the paper mill.
@Hazard: College of Art & Design, by any chance?

I wanna go there.

I want to go to the east coast and visit some old cities. But I am thinking Boston. Savannah looks cool though.

I love it here. You take the good with the bad like any other place.
309 WEST FTW!

Wet Willy’s is also a must visit. Order a Call-A-Cab. You’ll thank me later
December 31, 2008 at 3:36 pm
@suicydking Yep. We students don’t like tourists but the locals don’t like us so it all works out.
December 31, 2008 at 3:39 pm
@Hazard: When I visited there, I was staying with a friend who was attending that school. I remember eating at some hot dog joint with a nice view of a park… Forsythe park maybe? Donno, but it was good eats.
December 31, 2008 at 3:49 pm
@the3g_ipwn: I wrote it down. I’m totally going to do this.
December 31, 2008 at 3:52 pm
Tiki, Didn’t I also submit a pic of Forsythe Park? I ment to.

@dieAntagonista:
Come to Charleston S.C. we have everything Savannah has and our general population is smarter. Also that is right near where my wife and i live and you could stay with us and have a threesome, er, an interesting time discussing global politics.
December 31, 2008 at 4:21 pm
@thelotuseater725: How about if I come there instead, and instead of a 3some I just shag your wife?
December 31, 2008 at 4:29 pm
@thelotuseater725: This made me laugh really hard. Aww yeah, I’m totally going to do you both, er, just visit both places, and then have those interesting discussions you spoke of afterwards.
December 31, 2008 at 4:31 pm
I’ve never been to Savannah, but MCS and Gen. Sherman liked it, so I’ll take their words for it.
December 31, 2008 at 4:36 pm
@thelotuseater725: You know what? Scratch what I just said. I’m just going to watch.
December 31, 2008 at 6:54 pm
@suicydking: Long as I’m gettin laid, you can charge admission for all I give a damn.
December 31, 2008 at 7:43 pm
@thelotuseater725: I’m up for it, can’t turn down a redhead. I’ll have to try stopping in SC instead of Charlotte, NC (that city is a dump).

I never knew Americans were so sexual.
December 31, 2008 at 9:07 pm
@dieAntagonista: It’s always the prudes that you gotta watch out for. ;<)
December 31, 2008 at 9:30 pm
@nyokki: Haha, yeah that’s like the number one well kept secret, what the hell. Well I’m definitely not going to complain about it, teehee.

@dieAntagonista: Hell yeah were sexual. I used to think all of England was more prudish than the US. I only found out 10 years ago that I was dead wrong. lol
There are indeed incredibly sexual beasts in the US. Just ignore the bible belt and our mass media.:)

@Puulaahi: Haha, well that sure is good to know. I don’t know about the UK though. Definitely interesting people all over the place. I just wanna go everywhere.
Ah and don’t worry, I don’t watch TV, and American mass media is the last thing I pay attention to :p
January 1, 2009 at 1:48 am
@dieAntagonista: I want to go everywhere too.
