@...casemods: I pull directly from wiki all the time. WikiPOD is a site I hit every day. The object isn’t to find obscure pic from obscure sites. It’s about other people finding images that you didn’t even know existed about things that you may not have known existed. Prior to seeing this pic I had no idea there was such a thing or such a Christian sect. Granted he should have credited it, but the pic itself is interesting. Often you can’t upload the larger wiki pics because they’re way more than the 1mb limit.

The Rosicrucians have several competing branches but the best known one is headquartered in San Jose, Calif. and has a very impressive Egyptian artifact collection there that is open to the public.

Just the letters and signs are missing. I don’t know why. Also, the lowermost part is just dark blue and not four-coloured. But then again, those cards are not that big and you probably couldn’t read any of the signs and letters, especially those around the pentagrams would just be little dots. Maybe that’s the reason.
Crowley’s Tarot is one of the most beautiful I’ve seen so far. The illustrations are very complex and elaborate, including a lot of cabalistic symbols.
That sounds amazing. So are they available for normal people to buy? Or are they insanely expensive and only intended for ‘professionals’?
My friend from Germany sent me the original Rider Waite Tarot cards, they are quite beautiful and look like this.
I’m not going to be satisfied now until I get those Crowley ones.
We got the Raider Waite, too. Actually, they’re my girlfriend’s cards. She got the Crowley Tarot at a bookstore years ago. I assume they were not really expensive. amazon.at wants 20€, so I think that’s your general price. They have the book, too, with a miniature card deck that is too small to be pretty.

This was started as a “secret society” for the simps that wanted to join such as the OTO or A.:A.: but were found vastly lacking. Basically a kids table to shut them up and satisfy them. No intelligent person should pay them or their price tagged teachings much mind, except with perhaps an idle curiosity and a large grain of salt.
They use a mish mash of symbology and mysticism without much thought or logic behind it. Where other Occultures of their day were taking two steps forward [sic] (teaching such radical heresy as yoga), this was the step back.

In regards to Tarot; I strongly recommend making your own. Much more “powerful” that way. Don’t send some undeserving corporation your money. Download the imagery of such as Crowley’s tarot, and print them out yourself, onto cardstock or whatever you feel is right. Color them by hand. Hand making such things yourself puts much personal energy into it and will yield much more accurate results. But if you just want to collect them for the artwork then sure, whatever. buy buy buy
@...sylvanish: Oh really? First time I hear about this. Well my friend who sent me the ones I have, said it’s important that nobody handles your cards except you. So I do know that it’s important where they come from and who has been touching them. If I can find all the images, I’m going to try to do this. It’s a lot of work though.
@...dieAntagonista: Your friend is right, but also finding or being given such things as a gift, whether it be tarot cards, rune stones, or whatever, can actually be even more valuable than making them yourself, but truly its a matter of personal value and focused will power, and how much you choose to put into it. ’cause, really, just like life, an item’s past, magik or otherwise, isn’t as important as it’s present.
