  1. I think so, Brain, but isn’t a small cucumber called a gherkin?

  2. Gotta love the Acme Bagel Warmer and Gene Splicer.

  3. It was up there, but Freakazoid tops it.

  4. Sure Brain, but what would the children look like?

  5. @nyokki: LOL really… I spent much of my youth aspiring to work for the Acme company…

  6. @Phyreblade: I got a real kick out of it, remembering Acme and Wile E. Coyote, from the looney tunes.

  7. @nyokki: LOL Brings back memories. I kept thinking Wile E. Coyote got seriously shafted. “Acceleratii Incredibilus” my foot.

Wile E. Coyote was a freakin’ genius. With his intelligence and all the advanced tech he had access to, the roadrunner should have been roadbird fricassee… :D

  8. I liked to imagine that there were numerous road runners, but only the one Wile E. The cartoon was just showcasing the rare and funny moments when his plans backfired and went awry and such, but all the rest of the time, he got his meals easily.

  9. @sylvanish: Ah… I like that way of looking at it… Makes much more sense… Except that sometimes even the laws of physics violated their own existence turned against him… LOL

  10. Wile E Coyote was/is my favorite toon of all time. I have a small painting, done in 95,by an artist named Biero.(if I am reading the signature correctly.) It shows a beatup, bandaged Coyote on a crutch, dragging a broken roadrunner down the road. The roadsign ahead reads Victory: next exit. That poster went on my last cruise in the Navy, has mostly survived 6 moves and one housefire. That is the most motivational poster I have ever seen.

  11. @SumoSnipe: LOL I’m smiling just thinking about that poster… Not that I have anything against the roadrunner, but I’d say it’s about freakin’ time… :D
