   Hm, is this supposed to be here? And I totally read, “I’m totally hot for this fag.” But yea I agree, it’s a pretty flag. Prettier than Mongolia’s flag for sure. Though my favourites are still Canada and the communist flag.

   growing up in america it kind of takes on a different significance for me. I can’t really see the artistic beauty I’ve always like Uk and the Communist flags fo sho though.

   in my experience, most nationalist people are fucking pigs.

   cool we have a flag, but it seems stupid for people to be so proud of it, as if it were THEIR flag. as if THEY made it. as if THEY said fuck the queen 232 years ago.

   from a modern artistic point of view, I also find it to be kind of an assault on my eyes.

   sounds a bit rough, but I live with a couple of very racist people who love nothing more than the American flag, and it disgusts me. I’m almost embarrassed by the flag.

   I have as much love as anyone for my country (America), but devotion to the symbol rather than the idea drives me nuts. There are people who think that one should be sent to prison for burning the flag in effigy (or whatever). It’s just a fucken flag.

    @goforbroke: There’s a proper way burn a flag once it’s no longer in good condition.

    Hell I think my country’s flag is the most beautiful in the universe in history and reminds me of my home land half way around the world but if my desk flag gets worn out i throw in in the trash because its fucking a piece of fabric.
