I tried watching this last night and only got about 1/2 way through it.
I did not like it.

I loved it so much. Romanians FTW. I was so surprised to hear her speak Romanian with her mother, I thought she was Spanish.
If you didn’t like the movie, there is actually some adorable story to it. When you see the girl first meet Roy, the scene was real, she really met him for the first time. And she was tricked into thinking that he really was hurt. Most of the other scenes with them at the hospital talking were real as well.

I didn’t realize that about her meeting Roy for the first time, but it makes sense now. Me and my girlfriend kept saying throughout the movie that it didn’t seem like she was ‘acting’ because her character just seemed so genuine.

Its been a few years but I remember it being pretty damned good.
Surprised so many people just watching it now but I guess everyone here saw it on DVD.

Very good movie – and all of the amazing visuals in it are done using traditional SFX techniques – there’s no CGI

definitely worth watching. without giving away too much, I found the climax of the story very unnerving… I was ready to jump through the screen and punch that fucker, “Quit it!!”
(hopefully those of you who’ve seen it know what I’m talking about.)

Great movie. The story was meh, but the idea and is more than fine, and the visuals are wonderful. I keep watching it once in a while.

Definitely a love-it-or-hate-it movie, but I really don’t understand why. It’s awesome, and if you hate it, you must have bad taste. Sorry.

Beautiful but depressing movie. The little girl definitely stole the show.
