    He can give -2 weeks notice, if he wants to.

    “Yeah, I quit 2 weeks ago. The last fortnight, I’ve just been stealing lamps and sexually harassing every woman in the building. Bye!”

    You give 2 weeks notice to jobs that actually matter… Senators can take months off and no one barely notices. You only need half of them there to get stuff passed anyway.

    Yup, the life of a US Senator is tough. Lobbyests paying for everything so that you pass what they want. Payed vacations and traveling on the people money. How can they not be corrupt?
