@Twee: There was a Maserati outfitted to look like a CHP car. While I was taking pictures of it this group of early 20′s guys came up to the officer sitting with the car and asked if it was a “real” CHP car. The officer said that it was not and the guys basically, “Ok good because with the current economic issues in the state of California it would seem very inappropriate for the highway patrol to be have a Maserati”.
I thought that was pretty great!

Most vehicles like that are confiscated during drug raids. So they only cost what it takes to make it look like Police.
