Shakey cam is annoying.
This film is not in its entirety annoying.
Nor is this series.
Many people tell me it doesn’t shine next to the books.
But then I have to quote someone who said, “books take to long to read”

@storminator:
I agree. the director needs to learn how to do an action movie without a cut every 2 seconds

Awesome movie! What a rush! Ride an off road motorcycle, than you will understand shaky cam.

I don’t think that the movie would have the same impact w/out the shaky camera.. but I do agree, the books are way better than the movie

A shaky camera is a cheap and lousy substitute for a talented cinematographer and slick editor. There are scenes that warrant shaky camera work, such as during perspective shots in an off-road motor cycle chase, but that doesn’t justify using that technique everywhere else.

@sylvanish: I’d call the shot where he jumps into the room from the roof talented camera work.

I don’t get the shaky camera criticisms, for all three movies. I usually am really sensitive to that, but it didn’t bother me at all with these films.
According to Wikipedia, the stories are completely different than the books. Basically, it’s a vaguely similar main character, but everything else is changed. So can you really compare them?
Not that I plan on reading the books. I can’t stand Robert Ludlum.
@Puulaahi: Agreed!
