This movie was shockingly violent. It took me somewhat by surprise. I guess I didn’t look at its rating before watching it. Having said that, I agree with zephyr.

@Twee: I was very glad I saw it before my ex took our son to see it so that I could suggest to save this movie for later.

One of my favorite movies ever. I just with they would have translated the title literally – The Labyrinth of the Faun. Calling it Pan’s Labyrinth is misleading. I hate when they have to take stupid Americans into account (cf. Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone).
