One of the best movies of the last decade…and there’s a director’s cut? Somehow my life has just improved.

I wouldn’t go that far.

One of my favorites. Sci-fi mystery film noir with cool effects. What’s not to like? Also Jennifer Connelly at her hottest. Even Kiefer was okay in it.

I have to agree with MB and Ian. This was a highly underrated movie. Granted the whole movie looked like it was done in a single set by an unimaginative set designer, but that actually fit perfectly with the premise of the film.
The premise was interesting, and the key cast members didn’t do to bad a job of the acting. Sutherland I think overdid it a little, but O’Brien, Connelly (drool), and Hurt gave outstanding performances, followed closely by Sewell…
But beyond that the effects were cool. Rather understated in fact. Just enough to make the story believable…
