Just build a New PC with the i& chip set.
Here are the spec.
Intel Core i7-940
Asus P6t MB
12 gigs of Ram
3 128 gig SSD
2x HD 4870×2
My boss bought all that in one day threw it at me and said put it together.
This is his work station PC. He currently has 3x 30″ apple cinema displays

I’m going to wait for the 32 NM shrink before i hop on the bandwagon. Also i’m not building a new pc until USB 3.0 comes out

Oh god that’s nothing. My one friend has a 50 gb rig. Also almost any graphic design or video editing program needs lots of ram if you want to get things done fast. My Avid rig literally doubled in speed when i threw in 8 gigs of ram.

What OS are you using that can recognize 12 gigs of RAM. I thought 32bit Windows can max only 2-3?

32 bit Windows (2K/XP) does max out at 3Gb. 64bit Vista maxes out at 128Gb. I would assume he’s using 64bit Vista Ultimate otherwise all that ram would be pointless.
